Our Process
There is nothing standard about Tyee windows and patio doors.
We customize every element to suit your needs, from the size, style and shape to the glass and muntin bars.
We’ll even have the vinyl frames painted any colour you desire using long-lasting, environmentally friendly waterborne paint.
As a result of our plant efficiency and control over every aspect of the production process we are able to deliver a high quality custom product for a very competitive price.
Quite simply, you get exactly what you want for less than you’d expect.

Step 1 – Cutting: Every frame is cut to exact specifications using a state-of-the-art automated saw, and then double-checked by hand for accuracy.

Step 2 – Welding: Four point welder is used to achieve optimum accuracy and ensure that every frame is square and true.

Step 3 – Assembly: All frames are assembled by hand, allowing Tyee to produce windows and doors of any size and configuration.

Step 4 – Sealing: To prepare the frames for glass, Tyee meticulously silicones all corner joints to ensure that they are 100% waterproof.

Step 5 – Spacer: A spacer is required between the two panes of glass to make an insulated glass unit. Tyee only uses super spacer, the most energy efficient/innovative spacer on the market.
